S Rajala

I create interdisciplinary, multimaterial, and technically adventurous depictions of humanity. My muse varies from the intense emotions we are capable of, to the small moments with loved ones which are so easily drowned by the business of life, all the way to the biases that cause us to dig our own graves.

I use a variety of mediums and techniques. With a background in material engineering, my art practice is in a constant state of development and discovery. I am perpetually challenging myself and trying out new techniques and new ways of using materials as tools for creating art.
